My experience with legacy was truly amazing. All of the staff always made sure I was doing ok and had everything I needed and if I did not have it, they found a way to procure it for me. This was my first experience ever in a treatment facility let along ever trying to become sober. The groups, therapist, facilitator’s, etc….. made the experience for me very smooth and comfortable. I was never afraid to ask question or ask for help. Legacy treated me like a member of their family and not like a number they can look over. Legacy went above and beyond for myself and my family, I can not thank everyone there enough. They helped save my life. I would recommend legacy to anyone who is in need of mental and substance abuse help. Thank you Legacy! ~ Robin O

Legacy was exactly what I needed when I needed it. The staff is incredible and professional and care so much. They don’t always tell you what you want to hear but they always tell you what you NEED to hear and that is what’s important and what helped me to get to where I needed to be. They helped me get through some of the hardest things I’ve ever done and they will always have a special place in my heart. Of course the facilities are amazing but most of all the people there really care about what they’re doing and do their job the right way. I couldn’t have received better care even if I didn’t understand it at the time, I slowly got better and started to appreciate the incredible care I was receiving. They have sooo much patience. Legacy healing is hands down the best treatment facility I’ve ever been to. The facility itself is top tier. I was able to truly focus on my recovery with the help of their clinical staff on almost every facet of my life. Christina Holmes, program director, is the absolute best. No matter how busy she is, she always makes it a point to make sure EVERY situation I have going on here, or at home is completely in order, allowing me to be of sound mind, and for that I’m forever greatful. I also was blessed with the best therapist in building, dana. Dana was able to reach, and realte to me on a level that many others could not. This place is nothing short of amazing. Very professional setting with access to family and business while in treatment. Every treatment center previously before finding legacy I was always on a block out from the outside world. Coming here has saved my life and allowed me to step away from my personal and professional life but not be completely cut off at the same time. The facilities are beautiful and the comfort while staying is unmatched in my experience. The staff is extremely attentive and supportive!! Years after leaving legacy I continue to stay in touch with the staff and fellow alumni I've met while at legacy. Legacy Has been truly an eye-opening and life-changing experience. LEGACY TREATS YOU LIKE FAMILY! I have learned how to be a Functioning person in society, while being sober, which is something I could not do before. The Group therapy has been fantastic. I have gained so much knowledge from my peers about so many life lessons and to handle my emotions while being continuously sober. Family sessions have shown me how to be Better mother and wife. Brain Paint is an amazing neuro feedback program. The individual therapy helped me find the great person, that I knew was hiding in there. The holistic therapies are an excellent addition to the program. I am truly grateful for Legacy and will ALWAYS be!! ~ Julie B

My experience @ Legacy was a game changer for me in a battle that was on the verge of killing me. I just couldn't get off of Opiates or Alcohol. When i got to Legacy in January of 2021 i was a mess, i was coming in after a 45 day stay at a treatment center in Tampa Bay and a relapse. When i got to Legacy i had it in my head that all i needed was another 45 days, they advised me that i wasn't ready but i left anyways. I relapsed again and came back to Legacy. This time i spent 90 days from detox to the Maxi PHP house to the IOP apartments. From start to finish the housing, the staff, the therapy, the skills given to me to succeed were fantastic. Legacy is a Family, a close family, almost all the staff has been in our shoes, and that means a lot! The date today is 4-11-22 and yesterday i celebrated 1 year clean, so yes 5 stars. ~ Norman H

This has been a life changing experience for me at the Legacy Healing Center. In my short time here , I’ve learned so much and gained strength, courage and resilience I never thought I had. I have never met a group of the most amazing people on this planet in my life. All the staff members have been the kindest most supportive and caring individuals I’ve ever met. I’ve not met anyone who made me feel judged or uncomfortable. So much love and happiness exudes in this place. All the group members and my housemates are incredible too. They open up so quickly and their stories are powerful and inspiring. The group members have all been so instrumental in my journey of self discovery and development. Bottom line, by far the best possible serendipitous events that have ever taken place in my life started with Legacy Healing. Each individual is given the opportunity to learn grow and take responsibility for their being, life. Yes, there are certain all encompassing elements In the process. And what I believe is the major difference in Legacy, compared to others I've talked to about treatment is simply this. The individual comes first and foremost in identifying ones needs and creating the actions needed to meet those needs. There is staff that helps or stands down depending on the need. But they are there, skilled, trained and compassionate. And they do have all the modern up to date accommodations for your creature comforts. If you are looking for a place to heal and change I highly recommend Legacy Healing Center. ~ Shaun C

I chose Legacy out of the hundreds of centers in the Ft Lauderdale area and it was the best decision I’ve ever made. The facilities & the living quarters were excellent! The techs at the my house, specifically Jason were outstanding. He was understanding & a great listener. Micheal the tech at my next mover to the apartments brought an energy that casted throughout the complex. The facilitators leading our classes are absolutely brilliant and changed my world. Linda was my case manager and in my situation went above and beyond to help me with my issues back home to allow me to concentrate on healing! Thank you Linda!!! Love you. Came to Legacy Healing Center Fort Lauderdale for the second time with in the last 3 years and loved it, from staff. Lindsey and Carley, Cali, Mrs. Keisha, Jodi I could go on and not to mention there group facilitators especially Mrs.Ingrid , and Mrs.V, it's amazing what Mrs.V does for us all. Including the family weekend where my daughter was able to fly in from Texas and join a group of other clients and there family at a very nice hotel the put us at. All around from staff to food to the homes and now apartments that I current am stay are amazing. Would highly recommend for anyone looking to receive treatment for themselves or loved ones. Florida is a place to be especially coming from Texas. You will not be disappointed in any way. ~ Margaret S

Legacy embraced me from the moment I walked through the door. It is a healing center that changed the way that I perceived myself, others, and the world. The safe space in group therapy and 1 on 1 therapy allowed me to be honest, vulnerable, open minded, and willing to change. I couldn’t be more happy with my experience with Legacy Healing Center. I am open and honest that I have Been to 8+ treatment programs on my journey to recovery. Legacy is a cut above the rest . They're not just atreatment center, they are a healing center. What's the difference you might ask? I am so blessed to be at this place. I have neglected myself for 27 years and They're guiding me on how to take care of me mentally, spiritually, and physically . This place is magical. I love all the techs , especially Yolanda, JC, Lindsey, Kelli. All including Lindsey (my first point of contact) was so open to sharing their recovery stories and made me feel genuinely cared for . The groups are amazing and the housing will leave you awestruck. Legacy was an amazing experience for me. I have been to treatment many times and have never been treated as well as I had been. I was treated with respect and dignity. My addiction was explained to me in terminology I could understand and gave me skills to help me fight it and tools to help me stay in recovery. I was comfortable in all aspects. The facility and homes are beautiful, super clean and comfortable in every way possible. The staff are amazing and very accommodating, very professional and a lot of fun. They provide outings and showed me how to have fun in recovery and self care. Took me to outside NA and AA meetings and church. Just an over all amazing facility and experience!! ~ Mary S

I can not express how Legacy saved my life in every way possible! I was a first timer in recovery. I was very scared and fragile. The staff were all so caring and believed in me which inturn put my mind at ease and helped me to believe in myself. I went through the whole program and every step of the way I have had full support from a team of staff and doctors that not only detox you but, they rebuild and heal you mentally and physically. Legacy Healing Center is the most amazing experience in rehab I have ever had. It taught me so much about myself, my trauma, and self-esteem issues. We focused on what happened before the drugs and how the drugs have affected me now. I came out of Legacy Healing Center with a love for myself I have never had before, self-esteem that was higher than it has ever been, and the strength to move forward in my life so I can live a clean and healthy life with my son. I can't think the case workers, therapist, doctors, and most of all the texts. These individuals that work there care about your well-being and care about who I was broken and destroyed and watched me grow to somebody who is strong and who loves himself again. This place changed my life. I never have had more confidence and feeling ultimately good in my life. Legcacy taught me to trust my sober self. They showed me that life is more than booze. Legacy is the best treatment facility I have ever been too. Iv been to a lot in Minnesota and nothing compares to legacy. The faculty and team they have working there are top notch guys and girls that are very passionate about keeping you safe and comfortable, the therapists are experienced and very professional and know how to help you to be successful in recovery. The groups and classes are great aswell, they have so much knowledge about this disease it helps you understand what was going on and how to go about living recovery successfully and happily. This is one of the best treatment facilities in Florida and probably one of the best in the world. The staff really cares for you and will go the extra mile for you as long as you are willing to be helped. From therapy, to counseling, to groups, and housing, everything is 10/10. Coming to legacy has easily been one of, if not the best decision I have ever made for my life. Because of Legacy, I have been able to reconnect with myself and become whole again and find myself in sobriety and life. Let me start off by saying , this has a been a LIFE CHANGING experience. If you’re thinking about going to Legacy , Don’t hesitate. If you’re ready & open to the help they provide service I’ve never saw before , from the owners to the staff members. I am so blessed to be apart of this & to meet the people I’ve met, to experience the journey of sobriety. I’ve been adopted to a second family. They will meet any need required, I got into an accident 2 days before coming to Florida & Legacy tended to not only my recovery in sobriety but my recovery in surgery. I had a fantastic experience here at Legacy Healing Center I wouldn't trade it for anything the staff is amazing the program director Christian went above and beyond to make sure all my needs were met, they treat us with respect and make me feel like a regular person even in treatment my therapist Ashley was amazing all the group leaders were good and very engaged I have met some amazing people here and made friends that I'll have for a lifetime Don't plan on coming back to "rehab" again but if it comes to that I'll definitely be attending here! Great place full of love and compassion for what you are going through starting your journey in recovery. Christina and Tim was very helpful in getting my needs met through out the program. My therapist Angelina did great working with me in resolving my issues. My Case manager Linda worked with me on providing help for problems back home. Overall legacy was the best treatment center I’ve ever been too they have the best staff and the best way to start my journey for a better life. Legacy Healing Center not only saved my life, it provided me with a safe, extremely comfortable place to get sober. They surrounded me with the best staff, several types of therapy. I also learned about the disease of addiction, and I was given tools to keep from relapsing. From the owners, to the doctors, therapist, staff, receptionist to janitors they all actually care. I was treated like family and that makes the difference. The facilities are top notch. I’m not close to the same man that I came here as, and I don’t ever have to be that man again. I have love for my higher power, myself and my fellow man and woman. I have purpose that I did not have when I came here. I came with no expectation, no time limit, an open mind and I took suggestions! Lastly, when life hit, and it will, I did not give up thanks to the staff. Legacy is a very special place.
